Chamber Strings

Chamber Strings is our leading string ensemble, designed to prepare students for authentic string orchestra experiences. It is most suitable for musicians who have musical maturity, advanced technical skills and strong ensemble awareness.

Chamber Strings also rehearse and perform with the South West Sydney Philharmonic, typically at our end-of-year concert. This collaboration provides valuable experience in being part of, and performing within a full symphony orchestra.

As a general guide, Chamber String members are typically from Grade 4 and above.

Rehearsals are held Thursdays during the school term, from 7:15–8:30 pm at the Harrington Park Community Centre.
